Dr. Marvel obtained his medical degree and graduated with honors at the University of Texas Medical School, where he was named a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals, followed by four years of training at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
