One of the World’s Most Experienced Facial Feminization Surgeons
Around the world, there are few surgeons with as much experience in Facial Feminization Surgery as Dr. Eric Bensimon. Based in Montreal, Canada, Dr. Bensimon has been perfecting his Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) techniques for over 15 years.
With a background as a trauma surgeon concentrating on craniofacial reconstructive procedures, it was a natural progression for Dr. Bensimon to develop a professional interest in Facial Feminization. After completing a fellowship in craniomaxilofacial surgery and aesthetic surgery at the University of Toronto, Dr. Bensimon returned to Montreal to open his private practice. He noticed a growing trend of transgender patients seeking Facial Feminization, and realized that there were few FFS surgeons in North America. (In fact, in all of Canada there are less than a handful of surgeons specializing in FFS.)
With a keen attention to detail, Dr. Bensimon quickly developed a passion for advancing the field of FFS. An example of one of his developments is the use of an organic bone paste and cranial mesh, which reduces the bodily rejection and bacterial infection rate close to zero.
Dr. Bensimon’s experience with craniomaxilofacial surgery in the trauma setting helped him develop a deep understanding of the human skull and how to identify a feminine look. He fully understands the surgical challenge of FFS and provides the highest quality care to help each patient to achieve their individual feminization goals.
It’s not about the amount of procedures that you feel will enhance your face. It’s what most effective in achieving your goals and for maintaining a natural look. — Dr. Eric Bensimon
