Surgery Requirements
Surgery is a very personal experience and Dr. Gupta will help determine if Gender Affirmation Surgery is a safe option for you at your consultation. Dr. Gupta uses informed consent, so a letter from a mental health provider is not required. He also does not have a BMI limit. In general, a good candidate for surgery is in good physical and mental health. Dr. Gupta’s age requirement for gender-affirming surgery is 18 and over.
