Dr. Julie Nicole, MD is a board-certified gynecologist with a diverse background in linguistics and biology, holding bachelor’s degrees in French Linguistics from Université Laval and Biology from Vermont State University. Originally from Quebec City, Canada, she moved to the U.S. in 1995 as a French teacher before pursuing medicine at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. A WPATH SOC 8 certified mentor, Dr. Nicole spent eight years in private practice before co-founding Fresno Inclusive with Dr. Sam Schmitz to create a patient-centered clinic focused on equitable care in a welcoming environment.
Fresno Inclusive provides a wide range of gender-affirming services such as hormone therapy, surgical procedures like oophorectomy and labiaplasty, letters of recommendation for gender-affirming surgeries, and post-op follow-up care for out-of-town patients, including drain removal and wound checks. Additionally, Fresno Inclusive offers electrolysis for gender affirmation, PCOS, and cosmetic purposes. Preventive care, including annual exams, cancer screenings, and vaccinations, are also provided. Their sexual health offerings include STI testing and treatment, contraceptive options like IUDs, birth control pills, and Nexplanon, as well as surgical sterilization.
