Dr. Joel Beck of Beck Aesthetic Surgery Moving Practice from the Bay Area to Charlotte to Provide More Patients From the Carolinas and East Coast Better Access to Experienced Trans Surgical Care
FOSTER CITY, CA–(August 1, 2018) – After serving transgender patients in the Bay Area for over 14 years, Dr. Joel Beck is relocating his practice to Charlotte, North Carolina. The board-certified plastic surgeon will continue to offer surgical care at the Foster City office for the next year, but is also doing Skype consultations for patients on the East Coast now in advance of opening the new Charlotte practice in October. The new location is in Matthews, a town of Charlotte located in southeastern Mecklenburg County, a half hour drive from downtown Charlotte. In addition to being centrally located for patients in Charlotte and elsewhere in the Carolinas, the new office is easily accessed via the bustling Charlotte Douglas International Airport from places such as Jacksonville, Atlanta, Nashville, Louisville, Cincinnati, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Richmond and Norfolk.
With the opening of Beck Aesthetic Surgery’s new location, the practice will become the only plastic and reconstructive surgery practice in the area to boast almost 15 years of experience offering a full range of breast, body, and facial surgery procedures for transgender individuals. “Patients are looking for experience, ability and judgment. I have a critical eye for what looks right, and a natural appearance is always my goal,” says Dr. Beck.
Citing the desire to be closer to family, Dr. Beck is excited to call the Charlotte area his new home, and to help support the local transgender community. According to Dr. Beck, the move will cut wait times and offer more affordable aftercare and accommodation options. He believes that this will further his mission to increase accessibility to experienced trans surgical care for patients in the Carolinas and surrounding areas.
