Dr. Josef Hadeed, MD, FACS is a board-certified surgeon who specializes in Transgender Surgery, including chest/breast procedures, facial surgeries and body sculpting for both trans men and women. Dr. Hadeed’s practice now has two locations: Beverly Hills, California and Miami, Florida.
Dr. Hadeed received his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his surgery residency at UMDNJ/RWJMS Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ, and went on to complete a hand and microsurgery fellowship at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and a plastic surgery residency at the esteemed Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Hadeed received training in Gender Reassignment Surgery with the world-renowned team at UZ Gent in Belgium.
Dr. Hadeed is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Fellows are “board-certified surgeons whose education, training, professional qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct are reviewed and consistent with the high standards of the ACS. Dr. Hadeed operates at his private surgery center In Beverly Hills, 90210 Surgical Associates, and is also affiliated with St. Johns Medical Center and UCLA Santa Monica Hospital, both in Santa Monica, the Olympia Medical Center in Los Angeles, and the Torrance Memorial Medical Center in Torrance, California.

Beverly Hills is easily accessed via of the area’s international airports: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), LA/Ontario International Airport (serving the Inland Empire), John Wayne Airport (Santa Ana) , Bob Hope Airport (Burbank), and Long Beach Airport. Miami is accessed from Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).
Financing and Insurance
Dr. Hadeed accepts medical financing with CareCredit, and will also work with insurance and Medicare for some procedures.
Surgery Requirements
Dr. Hadeed follows WPATH guidelines for surgery.
