Phalloplasty
Phalloplasty is a complex gender-affirming surgery that uses tissue, blood vessels and nerves taken from another part of the body—usually the forearm, thigh or abdomen—to create a phallus that can have sensation and rigidity for sexual intercourse and provide the ability to stand to urinate. While there are more Phalloplasty Surgeons now than ever before, experienced specialists are still relatively rare and it’s very common for patients to have to travel to find care.

Dr. Christopher McClung
Dr. McClung is a board-certified urologist in Columbus, Ohio who specializes in gender-affirming genital surgery. His path to becoming a Gender Surgeon started with providing surgical solutions for complex urinary complications in patients who had bottom surgery elsewhere. In 2017, Dr. McClung started offering primary gender-affirming surgeries, including Vaginoplasty and Phalloplasty, and his practice is now fully dedicated to providing this care.

Dr. Fascelli is the Director of Urogenital Reconstruction and Surgical Co-Director of the Gender Affirming Surgery Program at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is committed to improve LGBTQIA+ urologic access and expand genital gender affirming surgery offerings for trans community members.

Dr. Shane Morrison is a plastic surgeon who completed fellowship training in Gender Affirmation Surgery at University of Michigan and Ghent University.
